Abnormal oscillation
In electrical and electronic circuits, this phenomenon occurs when unintended oscillation happens at a specific frequency due to poor design or wiring defects, causing malfunction. In amplifier circuits, it may occur when part of the output feeds back into the input and amplification is repeated. To prevent abnormal oscillation, accurate design and wiring are essential. If it does occur, one countermeasure is to change the CL value of the component. It is also referred to as hunting.
