CB (CB)

The CB certification is a common certification system that can be issued by certification bodies in each country that are members of the IEC. There are 43 CB member countries worldwide, mainly in Europe. In Europe, safety standards for electrical and electronic equipment are being unified under three standards: EN standards, CEE standards, and CENELEC standards, in order to promote trade among countries. One of these, the CEE standards, provides mutual recognition with other EN and CENELEC standards. By obtaining CEE standards certification, electronic and electrical equipment can be used in various European countries. Therefore, the CEE standards certification system is closely related to CB certification.
