CENELEC

CENLEC (European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, in French "Comite pour Européen de Normalisation Electronique") is a technical committee that proposes standard regulations to be adopted by the European Commission (EC). These standards (EC directives issued by the committee) cover areas such as EMI/RFI interference, intrinsic safety explosion protection, and immunity.
