CENELEC

CENLEC (European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization; French: Comite pour Europeen de Normalisation Electronique) is a technical committee that proposes standard regulations to be adopted by the European Commission (EC). These standards (relevant EC directives issued by the committee) cover EMI/RFI interference, intrinsic safety explosion protection, immunity, and related areas.
