JEITA standard

The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) establishes the standards. These standards succeed the EIAJ standards, which were managed by EIAJ, one of the predecessors of JEITA. The scope of the standards covers a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment fields, including AV electronics, information and communication devices, and electronic application devices.
