Overload
A state in which the output current of the power circuit exceeds the rated value. This can occur when a load exceeding the rated capacity is connected. Overloading may cause an overcurrent to flow, leading to heat generation and damage to the circuit, posing a risk of failure. As a countermeasure, current protection functions should be installed to either stop the output or limit the current. As a preventive measure, conducting precise load current calculations during the design phase and designing the circuit with sufficient margin can help prevent overload.
