Operating ambient temperature

The range of temperatures in which electrical and electronic devices can operate normally without failure. It varies depending on the device, but is generally within the range of room temperature. Some devices have a narrow operating ambient temperature range, and exceeding this range may cause negative effects such as reduced lifespan or malfunction. In rooms where many devices are installed in an enclosed space, the ambient temperature may rise due to heat generation, making forced cooling with air conditioning often necessary.

UNIFIVE offers devices designed for outdoor use that can operate at high temperatures exceeding 40 degrees. Some devices designed for cold climates can also operate below freezing.
