Synchronous rectifier

A synchronous rectifier is a circuit device in which the output rectifier diode of a power supply unit is replaced with an active switch such as a MOSFET. Rectification using a Schottky diode is called an asynchronous rectifier. This switch alternates between on and off under control, performs the role of a rectifier, and as a result, significantly reduces losses in the output stage of the power supply, improving efficiency.
