Active power
In alternating current power, it refers to the portion of apparent power that actually performs work. It is calculated by multiplying the effective values of voltage and current, and then multiplying by the power factor. It can also be obtained by integrating the product of the instantaneous values of voltage and current over a cycle. The unit is expressed in watts (W). This is commonly used for the power consumption of electrical appliances in daily life, and electricity charges are calculated based on this.
