Regarding the Further Extension of the Spring Festival Holiday Due to the Novel Pneumonia
Notice regarding the further extension of the Spring Festival holiday due to the novel coronavirus.
9.2.2020
Dear Valued Customers,
Thank you for your continued support.
We previously announced that our business would resume operations on February 10. However, considering the current situation, we have decided to extend the suspension once again.
1. Government Departments
Recently, the government of Guangdong Province, where our company is located, issued a notice regarding the required documents and preparations necessary before resuming operations.
As this is a top priority, we submitted the necessary materials immediately. However, as of February 9 at 12:00, we have not yet received any approval notice.
If we were to resume operations without official approval, we could be suspected of unauthorized operation, which could result in a forced two-week shutdown.
2. Status of Our Suppliers
Our suppliers are in a similar situation, and their restart dates have not yet been confirmed.
If operations resume prematurely, a shortage of parts may cause an early suspension of production.
3. Employee Return Status
We have been in regular contact with employees who have returned to their hometowns. At the end of January, 80% of employees were scheduled to return by February 10. However, the situation continues to worsen by the day, with more and more employees unable to travel from their hometowns. As a result, we cannot achieve our planned operational rate.
After carefully reviewing the above circumstances, we have decided to halt operations on February 10 and 11. The situation from February 12 onward will be reassessed on the 11th following a detailed on-site review.
Due to this, delays in product delivery schedules that we had communicated to our customers are now unavoidable.
Although this is a result of natural disasters, we sincerely apologize and ask for your understanding.
