Notice of UKCA Marking

This is safety standards information for the UK/United Kingdom. Customers whose destination country for the AC/DC Power Adapter is the UK/United Kingdom, please take note.

Notice Regarding UKCA Marking (Effective from January 1, 2021)

Following the United Kingdom's (UK) withdrawal from the EU, the marking will transition from CE marking to UKCA marking. Customers shipping products to the UK as the destination country will be required to comply with this change, so please take note.

 Details of the required actions and information regarding the "UKCA marking" are provided below. Please review them carefully.

Labeling Requirements

  1. From 2021/1/1, power supplies sold in the UK must display the UKCA mark.
  2. For products with the CE mark manufactured before 2020/12/31: They may be sold in the UK from January 1, 2021 to January 1, 2022. (Inventory located in Japan or the UK may also be sold during the above period.)
  3. For products with the CE mark imported before 2020/12/31: They may be sold without changing the mark.
  4. The design of the UKCA mark is shown on the right. UKCA Mark
  5. The standard applicable to adapters under this regulation is BS EN62368-1:2014+A11:2017. If the equivalent CE standard (EN62368) is satisfied, self-declaration is possible.
