Notice of UKCA Marking

This is safety standard information for the UK. Customers with AC/DC Power Adapters — Desktop & Wall-Mount destined for the UK should take note.

UKCA Marking Notice (Effective from January 1, 2021)

Due to the UK's departure from the EU, UKCA marking will be required instead of CE marking in the future. Customers shipping products to the UK will need to accommodate this requirement, so please be advised.

Details regarding this matter and information about "UKCA Marking" are provided below. We kindly ask for your review.

Regarding Label Display Compliance

From January 1, 2021, power supplies sold in the UK must display the UKCA mark.
Products displaying the CE mark manufactured before December 31, 2020: These can be sold in the UK from January 1, 2021, through January 1, 2022. (Stock available in Japan or the UK can be sold during this period.)
Products displaying the CE mark imported before December 31, 2020: These can be sold without requiring a marking change.
The design of the UKCA mark is shown on the right.
The applicable standard for adapters under this regulation is BS EN62368-1:2014+A11:2017. If the corresponding CE standard (EN62368) is met, self-declaration is possible.
