UK Government Announces Further Extension of UKCA Marking Transition Period

Following the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the EU, we informed you in January 2021 that UKCA marking would be required instead of CE marking as part of information on market safety standards.

This time, the UK government announced that the originally planned transition period for mandatory UKCA marking would be extended by one year.

Previous: Mandatory enforcement from 2022/1/1

Updated: Mandatory enforcement changed to 2023/1/1

CE MARK may be used until 2022/12/31.

After that, switching to UKCA MARK will be mandatory.
