UK Government Announces Further Extension of Transition Period for UKCA Marking

Due to the United Kingdom’s exit from the EU, we informed you in January 2021 that CE marking would need to be replaced with UKCA marking in accordance with market safety standards.

This time, the UK government has announced a one-year extension to the originally planned transition period for making UKCA marking mandatory.

Previous: Mandatory enforcement as of 2022/1/1

Updated: Mandatory enforcement changed to 2023/1/1.

CE MARK can be displayed until 2022/12/31.

After that, switching to UKCA MARK will be mandatory.
