Compliance with global safety standards
This page introduces our compliance with global safety standards. Our UNIFIVE AC adapters and switching power supply Products are developed and designed based on IEC technical standards, and we are expanding our Products lineup accordingly. We also explain our efforts to obtain certifications for safety standards in countries around the world (PSE, CCC, KC Mark, BSMI, SIRIM, BIS, UL, NOM, IRAM, EAC, GS, RCM, etc.).
Regarding Compliance with Global Safety Standards

Unifive develops and designs products based on IEC*1 technical standards and conducts global deployment of products.
In response to customer needs, we offer a wide selection of products that can be deployed overseas to countries other than Japan. When considering overseas expansion, Unifive can also introduce models that comply with the technical standards of the destination country*2. In cases where the destination country is not yet supported, Unifive also handles confirmation of compliance and the application/acquisition processes for safety standards in each country according to customer requirements.
- *1 IEC stands for the International Electrotechnical Commission. It is an international standards organization that focuses on electrical, electronic, and related technologies. Some of its standardization work is jointly developed with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), such as standard systems (Directives), compliance standards (ISO/IEC 17000 series), and IT technologies (ISO/IEC JTC1).
- *2 Some regions may not be supported depending on the destination country. Please contact your nearest Unifive sales office for details.

In recent years, the usage of AC adapters has significantly expanded. In the past, it was sufficient to meet the standards for "information and telecommunications" and "AV equipment", but now they are also used in areas such as "medical devices", "lighting equipment", "general home electronics", and "charging applications". We work together with our customers to create products tailored to their requirements and acquire the necessary conformity certifications, aiming to provide safe and reliable products.
If you are considering obtaining safety certification for other regions or destination countries, please feel free to consult with Unifive.
