This page introduces our compliance with global safety standards. At UNIFIVE, our AC adapters and switching power supply Products are developed and designed in accordance with IEC technical standards, and we offer these Products accordingly. We also provide information on obtaining safety certifications in various countries (PSE,CCC,KC Mark,BSMI,SIRIM,BIS,UL,NOM,IRAM,EAC,GS,RCM,etc.).

Compliance with Global Safety Standards

UNIFIVE products are developed and designed in accordance with IEC*1 technical standards, and are deployed based on these product development and design principles.

In response to customer requests, we offer a wide range of models that can be deployed overseas to countries outside Japan. When customers are considering overseas expansion, UNIFIVE can also introduce models*2 that comply with the technical standards of the destination country. In addition, even if the requested destination country is not yet supported, UNIFIVE will confirm conformity and handle applications and acquisitions of safety certifications for each destination country according to customer requirements.

*1 IEC stands for the International Electrotechnical Commission. It is an international standards organization that deals with electrical engineering, electronics, and related technologies. Some standards, such as the Directives for international standard development, conformity assessment (ISO/IEC 17000 series), and IT technologies (ISO/IEC JTC1), are developed jointly with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Workflow for Acquiring International Safety Certifications

When applying for and obtaining safety certifications for destination countries according to customer requests, we proceed in accordance with the following steps for your reference.

STEP1

Customer	Completion of development model from UNIFIVE and evaluation of AC/DC Power Adapter/open frame products Request to UNIFIVE for acquisition of international safety certifications
UNIFIVE	Upon receiving the customer request, apply to a third-party certification body for a cost estimate to obtain international safety certifications
Third-Party Certification Body	Receive the cost request for international safety certification acquisition from UNIFIVE

STEP2

UNIFIVE	Receive quotation for international safety certification acquisition costs from the third-party body Issue and submit quotation for international safety certification acquisition costs to the customer
Customer	Receive quotation for international safety certification acquisition costs from UNIFIVE Submit request form to UNIFIVE to apply for international safety certification acquisition

STEP3

UNIFIVE	Upon receiving the customer request, begin and submit application procedures to the third-party body for international safety certification acquisition Prepare related application documents
Third-Party Certification Body	Receive application documents for international safety certification acquisition from UNIFIVE and begin testing After completion of testing for international safety certification acquisition, issue certificate of conformity and test report to UNIFIVE

STEP4

UNIFIVE	Obtain and forward certificates of conformity and test reports for international safety certifications from the third-party body Exchange and finalize specifications with the customer Start mass production and deliver products to the customer
Customer	Receive and confirm certificates of conformity and test reports for international safety certifications from UNIFIVE Conclude specifications agreement with UNIFIVE Issue purchase order to UNIFIVE for mass production items After receiving products from UNIFIVE, ship the products to each destination

*Primarily, we proceed with acquisition of international safety certifications by utilizing CB REPORT based on IEC technical standards.

However, we now support product development and acquisition of applicable certifications tailored to customer needs in areas such as "medical equipment," "lighting equipment," "general electrical products," and "charging applications."
